More than a century of history, from the origins of TEUSCHER METER in Leipzig to today's LOIMEX in Vilassar de Dalt.
The company TEUSCHER METER is founded in Leipzig, Germany, specialising in cable measurement and winding.
The German automotive group BRACHT acquires TEUSCHER METER and renames the company TEMETER to diversify its industrial activities.
On 7 July, TEMETER transfers machine manufacturing to Spain to reduce costs and founds TEMETER IBÉRICA in Badalona, Barcelona. This subsidiary would eventually become the current LOIMEX.
Following the oil crisis, the BRACHT Group sells TEMETER to the SELVE company, which becomes SELVE-TEMETER. TEMETER IBÉRICA becomes independent and continues manufacturing cable machinery for the international market.
Notable presence at Matelec (Madrid), Spain’s leading electrical trade fair.
